Empowering Girls in Math

My name is Jade Jaffari, and I founded SheLovesMath.org to change how girls see and engage with math. For me, math didn’t always come easily. Everything went smoothly through Algebra II—until Advanced Geometry, when concepts became challenging and sometimes overwhelming.

My dad helped me see the beauty in math. He encouraged me to ask questions, explore ideas, and build a strong foundation. I still remember sitting at the kitchen table with textbooks and Lego pieces, turning a tricky problem into a puzzle I could solve.

“Math is like building your Eiffel Tower. Start with a strong base, and everything else falls into place.”

That moment changed everything. With his guidance, I overcame my struggles and even accelerated my learning—Calculus AB in middle school and Calculus BC as a high school freshman. I realized other girls could have the same breakthroughs with the right support.

That’s why I started SheLovesMath.org. I want every girl to see that math isn’t intimidating—it’s an exciting adventure.

Through 1:1 remote tutoring, we provide personalized, affordable, and inclusive support at every level. Our tutors are high school girls excelling in advanced math courses who serve as both teachers and mentors. We also offer free tutoring for students in need, so financial barriers never block learning.
